Reflections
Notes I’ve written and shared along the way: short posts first published on Instagram as @rishinspires, and reflections from my YouTube channel in 2021 and 2023. The words are as I published them.

An inspired life is a life designed intentionally.
- Be intentional with your thoughts.
- Be intentional with your actions.
- Be intentional with your energy.
- Be intentional with your time.
- Be intentional with your life.
Build a life you don’t have to escape from.
- A life built on a personal vision.
- A life built on personal values.
- A life of personal development.
- A life filled with love, appreciation, and gratefulness.
- A life of service to a cause greater than yourself.
Build your life by design.
At any stage in life you need these:
- A vision for your future.
- A list of values to live by.
- A list of your passions and curiosities.
- A list of activities you enjoy.
- A handful of self-care practices.
- A journaling practice.
- An appreciation for life.
Allow yourself to dream.
Imagine what the best version of you and your ideal life would look like.
Imagine a plan to make it a reality.
This costs nothing, but it can change everything.
The antidote for despair is taking action.
- Take small steps towards your goals.
- Don’t dwell on your pain, focus on healing it.
- Don’t get hung up on your past, build your future.
Movement shifts your energy. Keep moving forward.
You need to become the solution to your problems.
Play the role of:
- A detective
- A scientist
- A problem solver
Don’t be fixated on your problems; become fixated on being the solution.
Your negative thoughts should be a wake-up call.
- A call to analyze your inner dialogue.
- A call for heightened awareness.
- A call for a perspective shift.
- A call to reverse that energy with positive affirmations.
Make your mind work for you, not against you.
Break the mold and re-program your mind.
You’ve been programmed by:
- Society
- The media
- Friends & Family
- Your past conditioning.
Take ultimate ownership of your mind and intentionally program it yourself.
Stop focusing on your:
- Problems
- Mistakes
- Shortcomings
- Limitations
Focusing on the negatives drains the very energy you need to succeed.

The power of your thoughts
The power of your thoughts is incredible. The thoughts you consciously put in sink deep down into your subconscious and then start to materialize. Your mind is a creative mechanism that seeks to express the thoughts you internalize.
Choose to be the master of your thoughts to determine your own fate.

Choose your counsel wisely
It’s essential to have trusted advisors who will provide the proper guidance and support when needed.
You may have to seek out the answers you are looking for yourself. You may need to do your homework to find the right books, courses, mentors, and guides, but that effort will pay dividends saving you time, energy, and heartache.
Don’t waste your time seeking advice from those who can’t provide you with a clear path to where you want to go and who you want to become.

Live by a code
Three steps to learn your lessons faster:
- Write down your lessons. After a major realization, jot down the key lesson. Anything from understanding your limits to setting boundaries.
- Define your values. What matters most to you? What principles guide your actions? Knowing your values is crucial for navigating life.
- Live by a code. Create a personal code of conduct based on your values and lessons learned. Your guidebook for making choices that align with your goals and values.
By following these steps, you can break the cycle of relearning the same lessons and start living more intentionally.

Break through resistance
A step-by-step guide:
- Sit with it: embrace the discomfort; it’s a sign you’re on the brink of growth.
- Analyse its roots: understand why it’s there. Is it fear, past experiences, or doubt?
- Break it down: fragment your goal into small, manageable steps.
- Take action: start with one tiny step. Momentum will follow.
- Reassess and adjust: learn and recalibrate your approach as you move.
- Stay committed: remember your “why” and let it fuel your journey through resistance.
