Rish Saini is a Gurugram hospitality founder and operator. He founded Underdoggs, the sports-bar brand, in 2011 and has been a director of Mrs Kaur’s Bakery & Cafe since 2009.

Rish Saini is a hospitality founder and operator based in Gurugram. He started in 2006, serving tables in the United States. In 2011 he founded Underdoggs, a sports-bar brand built for many sports at once, and since 2009 he has been a director of Mrs Kaur’s Bakery & Cafe, the bakery his father founded. He designed five Underdoggs venues and the Mrs Kaur’s flagship in Gurugram, and founded AI for Hospitality, which shares practical AI methods with restaurant, bar and café owners.

Rish Saini is a hospitality founder and operator based in Gurugram, with twenty years in the industry. He started in 2006, serving tables in restaurants in the United States.

In 2011 he founded Underdoggs as a bar for many sports at once, at a time when Delhi’s sports bars were built around cricket. He designed five of its venues between 2017 and 2019, including two brewpubs in Punjab, and the brand’s awards include Best Sports Bar (national) at INCA 2016, an NRAI initiative. Since 2009 he has been a director of Mrs Kaur’s Bakery & Cafe, which his father, Preet Saini, founded in 2006, and in 2025 he designed its Golf Course Road flagship.

Through Breakthrough Design Studio, founded in 2018, he has created concepts for other owners, including Ālaya Café & Bar in Shillong. He also founded AI for Hospitality, which shares free guides and a weekly newsletter on practical AI for restaurant, bar and café owners, and he photographs his own venues.
