An established brewery that traded well but felt dated. The whole proposition moved, and the beer went from four taps to eight.

The situation
Nuts & Brew was an operating brewery that had performed well, with the industrial look of the first wave of Indian brewpubs and a guest proposition that had aged with it.
The decision
Making the room look newer would not have given anyone a new reason to visit. The interiors, the beer, the food, the menus and the service identity had to move together, so the brief became a repositioning rather than a renovation.
The work
The studio modernised the interiors, redesigned the food programme and the menus, provided brewery consultancy, redesigned the staff uniforms and expanded the beer programme from four taps to eight. Nuts & Brew reopened in April 2025, pouring eight craft beers.
Why eight taps
Four more taps are not just four more products. They let a brewery broaden its range, rotate and experiment, offer tastings and flights, and give regulars a reason to come back for something new.

Repositioning: Breakthrough Design Studio, led by Rish Saini, for the venue’s owners. The beer is brewed by the brewery’s own team; the original 2019 build was by another studio.
